 iasm are what makes it happen. Without you\, there is no home to return to
 ! Our home hosts theme camps and open camping\, but everywhere you look pe
 ople will be sharing their music\, art\, and fiery fun. Lakes of Fire reve
 ls in the creative carnival atmosphere and non-stop smile that you have al
 ways brought to it. Lakes of Fire is the Great Lakes Region’s official B
 urning Man Regional Event and is conducted in accordance with the 10
  Principles. GLEA Mission Statement Lakes of Fire\, the Great Lakes 
 Regional event is produced by the Great Lakes Experimental Arts (G.L.E.A.)
  Group. The legal purpose of G.L.E.A. is: “The purpose for which the cor
 poration is organized is to receive and administer funds for charitable pu
 rposes and for the public welfare. The corporation’s focus will be raisi
 ng funds for art projects and performances\, which will be administered pr
 imarily through grants to artists or performers.” G.L.E.A. is an officia
 l 501(c)3 and is in good standing with the IRS and the State of Michigan. 
 Lakes of Fire is an official regional Burning Man event and is permitted a
 nd supported by the local fire and police department.
